Application

Once you’ve chosen the property for yourself. We will ask you to complete an application form and supply ID.

Deposit

A deposit will be required, equivalent to 5 weeks rent, and will be held with a deposit protection service

  • Deposit = 5 weeks rent, e.g. £700pcm x 12 = £8400 / 52 x 5 = £807.69 deposit to be held with the deposit protection service

References

As part of the application process, we will (with your permission) obtain written references to support the information you provide. This will mean contacting your employer(s), current and previous landlord(s), and a character reference. We will also carry out a credit search using an independent referencing company. Should we decide a guarantor is required before a tenancy can be granted, the same process of referencing will apply to the guarantor.  

Restrictions

We may wish to apply certain restrictions to a tenancy. Please find below some typical examples of restrictions that may be imposed:

  • Smokers

  • Housing Benefit

  • Students

  • Pets

You will be advised of any restrictions before an agreed viewing of a property takes place.

Self Employed Applicants

If you are self-employed we will require a written reference from your accountant dating back 3 years.

When can I move in?

As soon as we receive your completed application form and satisfactory replies to our reference enquiries, we will contact you, we shall contact you to agree on a mutually convenient move-in date.
